Deputy President to address World TB Day – Tuesday, 22 March 2016
Lephalale - Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa and Chair of the South African National Aids Council (SANAC), will deliver a keynote address at the World TB Day commemoration event in Lephalale in the Waterberg District in the Limpopo province on Tuesday, 22 March 2016 at 9h00.
The commemoration will be part of a wider effort aimed at achieving goals and objectives set by the National TB programme (NTP) to mobilise communities and encourage them to adopt practices that minimise the risk of TB infection.
The commemoration will provide a platform for a Mass TB Screening campaign. Deputy President Ramaphosa launched the campaign in 2015.
