Deputy President Ramaphosa to meet with the Western Cape farming community
Paarl - Deputy President Cyril Ramaphosa will on Saturday, 01 November 2014, interact with members of the farming community in the Western Cape Province, at the SAPS Academy, in Paarl, Cape Town.
The Deputy President is convening this interaction with the farming community with a view to addressing amongst others, issues pertaining the deteriorating working and living conditions of farm workers in the Western Cape, particularly, as well as the recent rise of evictions of farm workers.
The meeting will be attended by representatives of organised labour, private sector, various community based structures and the leadership of all three spheres of government.
Deputy President Ramaphosa will be supported in this regard by the Ministers Mildred Oliphant, David Mahlobo, Senzeni Zokwana, Pravin Gordhan, Michael Masutha, and Deputy Minister Zou Kota-Fredericks.
