Acting President Cyril Ramaphosa's statement on the passing away of the father of Minister Malusi Gigaba
Pretoria - Acting President Cyril Ramaphosa today Wednesday 3 December 2014 extended the heartfelt condolences of the government and people of our country to family, friends and colleagues of Minister of Home Affairs Malusi Gigaba on the passing away of their beloved father, Rev. Jabulani Thomas Gigaba.
"We know and know too well the burden of pain, sorrow and grief that the passing away of a beloved father can bring to bear upon members of the bereaved family. We can only help lessen the burden of such pain through the support, prayers and thoughts that we all now extend to the family" said Acting President Ramaphosa
"We are thankful for the contribution Rev. Gigaba has made both as a father, community and religious leader as well as giving the country the gift of a son who has committed his entire life to the service of our nation, Malusi Gigaba" continued Acting President Ramaphosa
"On behalf of President Jacob Zuma, the government and people of our country, we reach out in thought and prayer to Minister Gigaba and the broader Gigaba family, friends and colleagues during this hour of bereavement.
