President Ramaphosa to attend 2019 election results announcement

President Cyril Ramaphosa will attend the official announcement by the Independent Electoral Commission of South Africa (IEC) of the results of   the 2019 national and provincial elections.

The announcement will take place tomorrow, Saturday 11 May 2019, at the IEC Results Operations Centre at the Tshwane Events Centre in Pretoria.   While the President is due to undertake this visit at 18h00, his schedule will be informed in part by the IEC’s own schedule.

President Ramaphosa will also attend the IEC-hosted dinner that will follow the results announcement.
