President Ramaphosa to address National Day of Reconciliation

President Cyril Ramaphosa will tomorrow, 16 December 2020, virtually deliver a keynote address in celebration of National Day of Reconciliation.

Since the dawn of democracy, South Africa annually observes 16 December as National Day of Reconciliation to foster reconciliation among all race groups and to promote national unity for a shared future for all.

This year, the day is commemorated under the theme: “United in action against racism, gender-based violence and other intolerances”.

In view of COVID-19 restrictions, the official programme of National Day of Reconciliation will be held virtually. It will be live streamed on national televisions and radio channels as well as on various government digital media platforms.
