President Ramaphosa to address Africa Investment Forum Welcome Dinner

President Cyril Ramaphosa will tomorrow, Wednesday 7 November 2018, deliver the keynote address at the welcome dinner preceding the inaugural session of the African Development Bank’s Africa Investment Forum (AIF).
 
The dinner will be held at the Sandton Convention Centre at 19h00.
 
The AIF, which will take place from 7 to 9 November, 2018 provides an open platform to multilateral institutions, governments and the private sector to improve the pipeline of projects that can transform the continent.
 
The Bank is working with several global partners and stakeholders to make the African Investment Forum the springboard for African economic transformation.
 
The Forum will be attended by a number of Heads of State and Government from across the African continent including His Excellencies Joao Lourenco of the Republic of Angola, Patrice Talon of the Republic of Benin, Paul Biya of the Republic of Cameroon, Uhuru Kenyatta of the Republic of Kenya, Muhammadu Buhari of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and Paul Kagame of the Republic of Rwanda, among others.
 
For South Africa, the Forum complements government’s various initiatives to support economic recovery, increase domestic and international investment and create and protect jobs.
