President in dialogue with business women on the economy

President Cyril Ramaphosa will tomorrow, Tuesday, 29 October 2019, engage in a dialogue with women across the country on pertinent issues that affect women and their role and contribution to the economy.

The dialogue, convened under the theme “The Economy is woman”, is organised by the Business Women’s Association of South Africa (BWASA), an association of business and professional women in South Africa, focussed on initiatives targeted at women entrepreneurs and women within the   corporate and other sectors.

The association has been a voice of women in business within the South African economy since 1980.

The President will participate in the dialogue in the context of realising one of the sixth administration’s seven priorities – economic transformation and job creation

The dialogue will afford the President an opportunity to engage on government’s initiatives to empower women and place women at the centre of economic activity as equal participants.
