President Cyril Ramaphosa to address the National Council of Provinces

President Cyril Ramaphosa will on Thursday, 22 November 2018, address the National Council of Province (NCOP)’s Gauteng Provincial leg of Taking Parliament to the People.

The engagement will take place at the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality.

The National Council of Provinces launched Taking Parliament to the People in 2002, to give communities first-hand experience of how parliamentary procedures work and to demonstrate accountability in action.

Taking Parliament to the People visits provinces on a rotational basis, and in 2018 the focus is on Gauteng.

President Cyril Ramaphosa will address the NCOP’s session under the theme “Seizing the moment to chart a new course of action against poverty, unemployment, inequality and under development”.
