President to address 8th elective congress of Contralesa

President Cyril Ramaphosa will, at 09h00 tomorrow, Saturday, 30 April 2022, deliver a keynote address at the 8th Elective Congress of the Congress  of Traditional Leaders of South Africa (Contralesa).
 
The Congress commenced today, 29 April 2022 at Birchwood Conference Centre in Boksburg, Gauteng.
 
The Congress is themed “Royal Leadership taking its rightful place to advance and reinstate pride and dignity of the institution of Traditional Leadership in South Africa” and is attended by more than 300 delegates from all provinces.
 
Contralesa represents traditional leaders and chiefs in South Africa and seeks to work with government towards a unified South Africa that draws on the strengths of South Africa’s cultural and traditional diversity.
 
The elections for the new National Executive Committee will be conducted tomorrow.
