Deputy President Mashatile to cast his vote at St. Johannes Lutheran Church in Kelvin on Wednesday

Deputy President Paul Mashatile will on Wednesday, 04 November 2026, exercise his right to vote in the sixth Local Government Elections since the dawn of South Africa’s democracy. 

Deputy President Mashatile encourages all eligible South African voters to come out in numbers and vote in the 2026 Local Government Elections. 

These elections are important as they will determine who represents our wards, who governs our municipalities and who takes responsibility for the delivery of essential services.
