Minister Mmamoloko Kubayi to deliver eulogy at the funeral of Justice Fikile Eunice Mokgohloa

Minister of Justice and Constitutional Development Ms Mmamoloko Kubayi will tomorrow, Saturday, 29 August 2026, on behalf of President Cyril Ramaphosa, deliver the eulogy at the funeral of late Justice Fikile Eunice Mokgohloa, who passed away on Thursday, 20 August 2026.

President Cyril Ramaphosa has declared that Justice Mokgohloa will be honoured with a Special Official Funeral Category 2 featuring ceremonial elements provided by the South African Police Service.

Justice Mokgohloa was a Judge of the Supreme Court of Appeal since June 2019, after serving as Deputy Judge President of the Limpopo Division of the High Court.

She also served as Acting Deputy President of the Supreme Court of Appeal.
