Deputy President Mabuza visits the North West Province for provincial engagement with Premier and Military Veterans associations

Deputy President David Mabuza, in his capacity as the Chairperson of the Presidential Task Team on Military Veterans, will on Tuesday, 12 July 2022 visit Potchefstroom in the North West province for strategic consultations with the Provincial Government and Military Veterans associations.

The meeting will provide the necessary platform for the Presidential Task Team on Military Veterans, to assess progress achieved by both National and the North West provincial government in particular, through this collaborative effort, in addressing the challenges faced by the Military Veterans.

In the quest of finding lasting solutions to address the challenges raised by the Military Veterans, President Cyril Ramaphosa appointed the Presidential Task Team chaired by Deputy President Mabuza and includes Minister in The Presidency, Mr Mondli Gungubele, the Minister of Defence and Military Veterans, Ms. Thandi Modise together with the Deputy Minister of Defence and Military Veterans, Mr Thabang Makwetla.

Deputy President Mabuza will be supported by the Deputy Minister of Defence and Military Veterans, Mr Thabang Makwetla, together with senior government officials.
